We could all benefit from giving our pocket supercomputers a rest and leaning into the analog satisfaction of, you know, memorializing our emotions on paper.

Behold, this retro throwback collaboration between iam8bit and Netflix, featuring 17 greeting cards by acclaimed artists Matthew Lineham, Patrick Ballesteros and Trevor Girard. Printed on actual paper, with blank innards awaiting your endearingly handwritten words of affection. About the Artists

Matthew Lineham, @mlinehamart, is an artist and illustrator from Woodstock, NY. Matthew has shown his paintings and posters in galleries and worked for countless bands, musicians, tv and movie franchises, and myriad book publishing clients. Matthew recently presented his work at an 80s New Wave solo gallery show at Gallery1988 in Los Angeles. Determined to make all the things he wishes existed when he was a kid, Matthew has brought his own take on music posters, valentines and Christmas ornaments, creating retro 80s nostalgia.

Patrick Ballesteros, @patrickballesteros, is a freelance illustrator and instructor based in San Diego with a passion for creating art that brings you back to being a kid. As a product of the 80's, his inspiration stems from his childhood and a healthy dose of 80s cartoons and 90’s comics. Patrick also conducts workshops, guest lectures, and teaches at the Concept Design Academy (Pasadena, California) and the Computer Graphics Master Academy (CGMA).

Trevor Girard, @beholder_creative, is from Southern California. Raised on surf, skate, DIY punk, and underground art culture, creativity has always been the underlying theme in his life. Trevor thinks of himself as a creative of days past, when drawing skills were as important as design skills. Mostly he’s just a kid at heart with big ideas.
