This collaboration between Netflix and premium collectible purveyor, iam8bit, spares no attention to detail. It’s an excellent quality 8.0 Skatedeck, made of 7 ply American Maple from the Great Lakes region. Decks are made employing a cold pressed method, which takes more time than a hot-pressed deck, but does not subject the wood to high temperatures that can weaken the fibers. This is the finest craftsmanship, paying special attention to controlling veneer moisture content and allowing uncut decks to cure for a minimum of 4 days in large stacks before finishing.
